Ken experience is both extensive in that he has been in the design and construction industry for nearly 35 years, and his project experience over those years has been quite diverse. Mr. Pliska began his career as project engineer and project manager with a focus on services for NYC real estate owners and operators, as well as consulting to the fast-developing telecommunications and technology community. This included the development of the premier “Telco-Hotel” at 60 Hudson Street. During this period, Ken became a principal of his architectural and engineering consulting firm.
After his successful consulting career, Ken joined an upstart real estate development firm and started his own owner’s representation firm. Ken has continued working as an owner’s representative for various developers and owners managing residential, commercial and hospitality project through out the US but mainly in the greater NYC area. Ken Joined KOW Arma in 2019 to help bolster the Arma team and to bring his experience from his individual consulting firm to a larger platform with Arma.
Ken completed the Bachelor of Architectural Engineering program at The Pennsylvania State University in 1985. He obtained his Professional Engineers license in 2003 and help licenses in Pennsylvania and New York State. He is a past-President of the NYC Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association, past-Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus and is involved in numerous philanthropic and volunteering organizations.
